Aviation Security Ltd provide advice and consultation to shippers and freight forwarders seeking Department for Transport (DfT) Known Consignor Status and (DfT) Regulated Agent Status. In addition, pre-validation and re-validation inspections are undertaken by DfT approved validators. Aviation Security Ltd provides the most comprehensive and up to date guidance concerning validation requirements (e.g. physical security, recruitment procedures, staff vetting, staff training, targetability, export packing, tamper evidencing etc.).
For Validation purposes most 'Known Shippers' in the U.K. require DfT Aviation Security 'Awareness' training. Where shippers prefer, this training can be delivered on site, at a mutually agreed time and date, via a 2-3 hour session. Certificates are provided to all candidates attending.
DfT approved cargo training courses are delivered throughout the U.K. (by DfT approved trainers) to Freight Forwarders, Airlines and aviation personnel. These include Aviation Security DfT cargo levels 'A' through 'G' (replacing previous DfT cargo levels '1' to '4'). These courses are also delivered conveniently, by arrangement, in client's own offices (thereby eliminating the costs of travelling, overnight accommodation and unnecessary staff downtime). External venues can be provided.
